Most of our lambs are sold at the end of August, into September, so you may be here while we are gathering and working in the fank.
By the Autumn equinox, although the days have begun to shorten, it is still light at 7.30 in the evening, and the sunsets brush the land in a warm golden glow. Those longer evenings mean more chance of spotting a display of Northern Lights, most often viewed on camera rather than with the naked eye.
The Swallows leave for southern climes.
