Discount
We are offering a 10% discount on new bookings made for dates from now until the end of October in Middle Cottage and East Cottage. Both cottages sleep 2 and are at Haunn, a lovely location near the sea. Each cottage is cosy and comfortable with a wood burning stove in the open plan living room, and a king sized bedroom. The coastline is dramatic and the views are wonderful.

Ferries
Most visitors are initially unaware that we have 3 ferry routes to Mull. Oban to Craignure; Lochaline to Fishnish and Kilchoan to Tobermory. You don’t need to book Kilchoan or Lochaline, you just turn up and wait (check the Calmac website for the timetable).
You do need to prebook the Oban ferry. We use the Lochaline route much more than the Oban one, it feels less stressful to us not to have to commit/book to a particular sailing. Lochaline is probably an extra hour’s drive, but the additional time you spend driving you make up by a shorter check in time and crossing. There is a beautiful detour along the coast of Loch Linnhe if you have time, where you might see handsome feral goats eating seaweed on the shore. Great place for a picnic en route!
