Mull and Iona Arts Trail
Mull and Iona Arts Trail was established by the island tourism group, Visit Mull and Iona. The Trail provides a website listing the craftspeople and artists living and working on the island. It is well worth having a look at their website. I am a big fan of Visitors play an important part in supporting the local economy when they buy from local artists, galleries and shops.
Local to Treshnish
There are several artists and craftspeople living and working near Treshnish. The Tin Shed Gallery is just up the hill from here, and puts on different exhibitions every couple of months during the season. You can find them by looking at the Map on the Arts Trail website. Andy and Helen Mortley are in Dervaig. Jo Caskie makes wonderful paper books and sculptures. You can find their work at Calgary Arts and also at their own studio.
Calgary Arts just up the hill from the beach combines the work of many local artists and craftspeople. There is a cafe there too.
Day trips
Why not make a day of it, and visit some of the other studios and venues around the island when you are exploring. There is a useful map on the Mull and Iona Arts Trail website.
